About Elevate
“OK, so AI can do anything, sure. But what can it do for me?”
At Elevate, we turn the messy data inside a small business into something AI can act on. Then we deploy the right app or agent to deliver the outcome.
MSPs serve small businesses. They already run the technology, and they already have the owner's trust. A small business won't do this alone, and it won't do it with a stranger. So the MSP delivers it.
The MSP's #1 job is to be the trusted technology advisor to their clients. That job has never mattered more than it does right now. Our platform helps MSPs find where AI fits into each client's business. And then we deliver.
ElevateGrow is the MSP's AI practice operating system. ElevateSolutions is the catalogue of apps, agents, and automation they deploy for their clients.
What gets us fired up.
- The mission. We help small businesses win in the age of AI.
- The market. $600B a year in revenue. 150K MSPs. 1M+ small businesses. No other industry has human labor, software, and AI colliding at this scale.
- The team. Backed by Tier 1 VCs. A leadership team with deep MSP channel experience, and builders from Snowflake, Twitter, TripAdvisor, Notarize, and Bitsight.
The role
AI models are exceptionally powerful. The hard part is fitting AI to the way a specific business works, and having it delivered by someone the owner already trusts. That someone is the MSP. Your job is to build the product that lets every MSP do that for every client, at scale.
Product at Elevate is founder-led today. We have a working platform, real MSP partners, and live implementations. We need to scale that several times over. You'll be our first dedicated product hire, shaping vision and strategy with the founders and making sure what we ship gets adopted and has impact.
Everything we build has to make the MSP money and deliver for their client. This is a build role with no playbook to inherit. You'll set direction, and you'll also own the details.
One more thing: we build and run Elevate with agentic software development and an AI-native product lifecycle. Product requirements are the spec our software factory builds from. If turning a messy customer conversation into context an agent can build from sounds fun, keep reading.
What you’ll do
- Own the roadmap and backlog. Turn broad goals and customer needs into clear requirements and manageable releases. Define "done" before the build starts, and validate what ships.
- Help us find product/market fit. Turn conversations into context. Make requirements sharp and structured enough for agents and engineers to build from.
- Make the products add up to a platform. Keep shared foundations like identity, permissions, onboarding, and data coherent across everything we build.
- Build for trust. Help MSPs and SMBs deploy AI with confidence through strong governance, privacy, and permissions.
- Measure what matters. Instrument the product and run evals so we know whether AI outputs are reliable and whether each change makes things better.
- Stay close to customers. Run a regular cadence of tests with MSPs and their clients. The MSP buys it. The SMB user has to love it.
- Shape strategy. Own the competitive picture, help shape pricing and packaging, and partner with the founders on where the platform goes.
Who you are
- Proven product builder. You've taken work from an ambiguous problem through delivery and iteration, and customers adopted it.
- Customer empathy. You turn a conversation into a clear problem the team can solve.
- Platform thinker. You design for the platform, not just the feature.
- Technically fluent. You work through tradeoffs with engineers and explain them in plain language.
Bonus points
- Experience with MSPs, SMB technology customers, or a channel-led business
- You've shaped pricing and packaging, or brought products together into a platform
- Early-stage startup experience
- Microsoft 365 or broader Microsoft cloud depth
If this sounds like your kind of problem, we’d love to talk.
